AHRI Introduce Certification for HR Professionals

The Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) have just announced the introduction of HR certification through the AHRI Practising Certification Program (APCP)).

To complete the program HR Professionals will need to have worked in a HR related role for at least 5 years.

This is similar to the announcement in January by the Safety Institute of Australia of their Professional/ Practitioner Certification and too bring certification in line with other professions such as Accounting and Engineering.

At HR Business Direction we welcome the introduction of the certification and believe that businesses will also to know and have confidence that certified professionals will be reliable to perform in accordance with a set of standards.
